Drunk Driving

Drunk Driving is a big problem here in the United States because people choose to drink and drive, though it is very illegal. Alcohol is a factor in 6% of traffic related crashes and 40% which are fatal car accidents. The best defense against a drunk driver is wearing a seat belt, and if you are planning on drinking, designate a driver. There is an organization called MADD. It stands for Mother's Against Drunk Driving. It'd an nonprofit organization that prevent teenagers from drinking and driving. Since developing this organization, the penalties of drunk driving have got more strict. Which I think overall gets the message out to the public, that drinking and driving has severe consequences.
